Nov. 20th, 2005 Ride To Jerome with AZ THUNDER We're leaving the AZ Thunder Cycles Store promptly at 10:00 am for a day of depravity in the old ghost mining town of scenic Jerome. Make sure and pack some warm clothing, as this time of year in the mountains gets a bit nipply. Leathers are most definitely recommended. The Spirit Room is the height of most rides to Jerome. Usually taken over by bikers from all around the state, the Spirit Room has a wide variety of rock & roll and blues bands that entertain the crowds on the weekends.

Jerome was once a thriving copper mining town up until the late 20's. Then the mine and the town shut down and in the 60's the hippies began bringing the town back to life. There is plenty to do and see while you are in Jerome. Jerome has quite a history of boom and bust and is an important part of Arizona history.

Benefitting: Low-Income Children in the Verde Valley and Sedona

Location: WAL*mart Shopping Center
                Junction Hwy 89A and Hwy 260
                Cottonwood , AZ

Registration: 8:00 - 10:00 am
Fees: $20.00 per person + 1 new unwrapped toy

Event Description: This ride drew in nearly 450 riders last year and made over $14,000 for local low-income children. Participant receives a Tshirt, Poker Run Entry, Entrance into the Main Street Bike and Hot Rod Parade, Dinner, Bike and Car Show Entry, and Door Prizes.

                     Party from 12:30 - 6:00 pm

Everyone Welcome! Gate fee at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds for non-participants in the Toy Run.
